Osteopathy:

Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating and preventing health problems by the use of gentle mobilisations, manipulations, massage and stretching of your muscles and joints.

Osteopathy treats a wide range of problems related to muscles, joints, ligaments and other soft tissue. Most people who see an osteopath do so for help with back pain, neck pain and joint pain, muscle pain and other sports injuries.

FAQ:

How long will my session last?

Each session lasts for 45 minutes, depending on the client (you!).  The initial session may take between 60-90 minutes to allow for a full case history to be taken, an examination performed,  and still have enough time for the appropriate treatment to be carried out. A full treatment is always offered in the initial session unless for any reason it it not considered medically appropriate or further investigation is required.

How much will it cost?

Each session costs £65, including the initial session.

Can I claim this on my health insurance?

Sometimes it is possible to reclaim some or all of your treatment costs from the major health insurers.

However we do ask for everyone to pay upfront for their sessions. We will agree to charge insurers directly, but only if you have a pre authorisation claim number for the specific issue you are seeing us for.

We apologise for being direct about paying up front but as a small business we just can’t survive by relying on health insurance payment. Often this can take three months from invoice to payment, particularly if there is no pre authorisation.

Do I need to fill out any forms prior to my appointment?

Yes. Please see the link in your booking confirmation email or your appointment reminder email that you will receive 24hrs prior.  Please go through this and fill it in on your ipad/phone.  This will ensure, no time is wasted on arrival for your session.

How do I find the clinic?

ReBalance is situated in the Commercial Arcade, next to Dix Neuf Cafe, on the first floor above the X&Y store. We regret that it is not possible to work with people who are unable to climb stairs. Should this not be possible, please contact Charlotte to discuss whether alternative arrangements can be made.

If you have any questions please use the contact form in the top bar of this website.
